Over the past few months there has been a tremendous amount of work being done by the NCECA board to prepare for the upcoming conference and we could not be more excited by the way that things are taking shape.
We are thrilled to have made such strong and meaningful partnerships with artists, galleries, museums and cultural institutions in Milwaukee. Forging these networks in the community has allowed us to develop programming that reflects the diversity and strength of the city and its vibrant arts community.
As a member driven organization we have the incredible ability to influence the field of ceramics, and you will see this reflected in new programming directions and institutional partnerships that are helping to broaden the reach of NCECA and provide a dynamic, interdisciplinary perspective on creativity and clay to our large and diverse membership base.
Over the next few months we will be posting about all aspects of the 2014 conference- from the concurrent independent exhibitions to lectures, panel discussions and artist profiles. We will also highlight some of the great neighborhoods and nightlife that Milwaukee has to offer, as a way to help you plan your time and get the most out the conference.
This is going to be an event not to miss and we are looking forward to sharing some amazing things with you
