I am VERY excited to share with you some details of this year’s Randall Session.  Make no mistake about it, this is an event you will NOT want to miss!  First, you have to go check out their website.  No, really, right now.  go ahead it opens in as separate window/tab, so you can come right back here.  I’ll wait…I’ll just listen to this selection from their YouTube channel, “Music of the Sun”:

Welcome back!  So, since you just visited Ethel’s website, you already know that they are:

“A PROGRESSIVE STRING QUARTET CREATING

CONNECTION AND COMMUNITY

THROUGH PROFOUND MUSICAL EXPERIENCE”

Always striving to demonstrate the unifying power of music, ETHEL has initiated innovative collaborations with an extraordinary community of international artists.  Founded in 1998 and based in New York City, ETHEL is comprised of Ralph Farris (viola), Kip Jones (violin), Dorothy Lawson (cello) and Tema Watstein (violin).  We are unbelievably lucky to have sharing their collaborative talents with us and enriching our conference experience this year!  I can hardly wait to hear what they will be performing for us.

Some of you, however, may be wondering where the Randall Session came from, and why it’s a part of our conference every year.  GREAT questions!  Let’s hear the answers from a few people who know first hand…
