Hello everyone!
Bummed there were no student critiques at NCECA this year? No Problem! Critiques are here! The Student Critique Room is now virtual!
We are setting up online appointments between students and mentors to continue this influential programming. Students can show mentors their work on line. Mentors are professionals in the field with a variety of routes between making and education. This valued part of the programming serves to allow students of differing levels an opportunity to discuss their work and pursuits, while mentors share perspectives and suggestions.
Students: NCECA Student Members are invited to signup for 1 critique slot. Students will send 5-10 images of their work and an artist statement to the mentor via email correspondence. Students please sigh up before Sunday April 5th. We will connect the students with their mentors the following week. Critiques will take place starting Monday April 13th. If there are not any mentor spots open, please email Ellie or Ashlyn – see email address below.
