Moderator Susan Barnett earned an MA in Art History from UW-Milwaukee, a BA in Fine Art from Montana State University and has two decades of experience as a gallerist, museum director and artist. She is currently researching the history of Arts/Industry and coordinating the 40-year birthday celebration of the program.

Panelist Shari McWilliams has served as Arts/Industry Pottery Technician for the John Michael Kohler Arts Center since 2009. She earned a BFA from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and an MFA from the University of Miami. Exhibited internationally, her ceramic scuplpture was recently published in The Best of 500 Ceramics
Panelist Tom Lauerman works within the overlap of sculpture, craft, and design to explore the emotional capacities of constructed spaces a a visual, tactile and visceral experience. He received an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art, a BFA from SMU Meadows School of Art, and currently teaches at Penn State University
