With hundreds of artists involved in working with clay in the region “the cradle of American Art Pottery, spearheaded by women” Cincinnati becomes a fitting place for the 55th Annual NCECA conference. We anticipate the return after 31 years to invigorate the artists, teachers, students, and other art professionals working in this medium for a week of collaboration and dialogue. The opportunity for inspiration, reflection and reinvention will be invaluable and long-lasting for the advancement of intellectual and artistic practice in this field.
