Deadline October 9, 2019
NCECA is pleased to announce the 16th annual NCECA Graduate Student Fellowships. The purpose of this fellowship is to foster and catalyze graduate students’ capacities to expand awareness and deepen knowledge in the ceramic arts through learning, intellectual inquiry, and creative research.
Fellowship recipients will be notified of their selection in late autumn 2019 and announced during the closing ceremonies of the 2020 conference. The student must make a project proposal for use of the $2,000.00 award (expenses may not include payment of tuition) and must submit additional materials as specified in the Application Process. A maximum of three awards may be made, of which $1,000.00 is mailed following the return of the signed agreement. The balance of $1,000.00 is paid when a project report with images is submitted and approved. Fellowship recipients will be publicly announced during the closing ceremonies of the 2020 NCECA conference in Richmond, Virginia, March 25-28, 2020
