This exhibition highlights the work of a new generation of makers, students currently pursing their MFA degree work at the University of Missouri-Columbia.  The makers are: Kaitlin Arndt, Joshua R. Maier, Scott McClellan, Anthony Pearson, Jennifer Halli, Kyle Hendrix.

Celebrating multiple approaches to the vessel and sculptural form each of these artists seeks to establish their personal voice and contribute it to the field of ceramics.

This exhibition will shine a light on a group of young makers at an early stage of their artistic careers.  Each is responding to their individual mentors within the field of ceramics and the broader field of contemporary art.  The exhibition captures this group of artists with their major milestones ahead of them while engaged in building the foundation of their artistic vision.

See this exhibitions at the Carter Art Center Gallery on the Penn Valley campus of the Metropolitan Community Colleges 10am-5pm daily during the conference, (Friday until 9:30pm)
