If you were with us last year in Milwaukee, you might still be talking about De La Buena.  They were incredible, right?  Well, prepare to be blown even further away (and while you’re at it, prepare to function on very little sleep) because this year, we have two amazing musicians and one fabulous backup band.  Read on to get the advanced *notes* on these amazing musicians, then plan to pack your dancing shoes!

Jeff Pitchell is an internationally acclaimed, award winning singer, songwriter, guitarist,  and an actor who reminds fans of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, BB King etc. but most of all, is a top drawing, best selling artist whose explosive guitar playing and impassioned vocals have drawn rave reviews from fans and critics alike for simply playing music that Jeff himself has written! Jeff has just returned from Europe, where he had an extremely successful trip!! Jeff  and Texas Flood are top-notch musicians and singers who unite to bring a high energy mix of Rhythm and Blues, Rock, Soul and funky Texas Blues.

When blues legend James Montgomery plays the harmonica, he “brings it on home”. Whether it’s recording with Kid Rock, sitting in with Gregg Allman, or fronting his hot band of thirty years, Montgomery plays with authority. While growing up in Detroit he learned first-hand from the masters – James Cotton, John Lee Hooker, and Jr. Wells – at the legendary “Chessmate.” Over the years, he’s carried on in the tradition and continues to be a vital presence in Blues as one of the most dynamic performers on the scene. James is currently going through one of his best periods ever. He was featured in a movie with Morgan Freeman and Willie Nelson called “Delta Rising”. It was these trips to Mississippi that inspired the new CD.
